Terms of Service

AJR Smart Technology acts as an authorized supplier and exporter of industrial equipment, including but not limited to gearboxes, electric motors, pumps, and medical ward equipment.

• All specifications, capacities, and technical drawings provided in our quotations or on our website are approximate and intended for general guidance, unless explicitly stated as legally binding in a formal Purchase Order (PO).
• We reserve the right to supply newer models or equivalents if the specified model is discontinued by the manufacturer, subject to the Buyer's approval.

All financial transactions are strictly Business-to-Business (B2B) and are subject to the following conditions:

• Quotations: Prices quoted are valid for a period of 15 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.
• Taxes: Prices are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), customs duties, and local levies. Appropriate taxes will be added to the final commercial invoice.
• Payment Terms: Unless credit terms have been explicitly agreed upon in writing, standard payment terms require an advance payment to initiate the order, with the remaining balance due against the Proforma Invoice prior to dispatch.
• Retention of Title: Legal ownership of the goods remains with AJR Smart Technology until full payment has been received and cleared in our accounts.

We export globally and supply domestically across India. Delivery terms are strictly governed by the Incoterms defined in your specific commercial invoice (e.g., Ex-Works, FOB, CIF).

• The risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the Buyer the moment the goods leave our premises or are handed over to the first carrier, depending on the agreed Incoterms.
• Delivery timelines provided are estimated and non-binding. AJR Smart Technology shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from delivery delays caused by logistics partners, port congestion, or customs clearance.

Due to the heavy industrial nature of the equipment we supply, we do not operate a general return or refund policy for "change of mind."

• The Buyer is required to inspect the goods immediately upon delivery. Any claims for shortages, visible defects, or wrong items supplied must be notified to us in writing within 7 days of receipt.
• If a valid claim is raised, our sole obligation shall be to repair the defect, supply the missing parts, or replace the equipment at our discretion.

AJR Smart Technology passes on the standard manufacturer's warranty to the Buyer. Typically, this is a 12-month warranty from the date of dispatch against manufacturing defects.

• The warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts.
• Exclusions: The warranty is void if the equipment is subjected to misuse, improper installation, electrical surges, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow the manufacturer's maintenance manual.
• Freight charges for sending the defective equipment to our facility or the manufacturer's authorized service center shall be borne by the Buyer.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, AJR Smart Technology's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods—whether in contract, tort, or otherwise—shall not exceed the total price paid by the Buyer for the specific equipment giving rise to the claim. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure). These events include natural disasters, acts of God, strikes, lockouts, global pandemics, supply chain disruptions, port closures, and government interventions.

These Terms and any commercial contracts entered into with AJR Smart Technology shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
